Biography of masters
Alexey Taber
He is a famous and iconic master and specialist in synthesizers from Moscow.
Hundreds of electronic musical instruments brought for repair and modernization from all over Russia and abroad have passed through his hands.
Alexey is also a specialist in the development of new and modification of old synthesizers – midiing, expanding the synthesis capabilities of specific instruments.
In 2016, Russian electronic engineers Alex Pleninger and Alexey Taber began producing the Polivoks Pro instrument, a desktop synthesizer made “based on” the original Polivoks – with the knowledge and full approval of Vladimir Kuzmin.
Dmitry Ivanov
Experienced electronics master in the repair and restoration of vintage and modern electronic musical instruments.
Hundreds of successfully cured specimens have passed through his hands – from the legendary Oberheim OB-8, Prophet 5 to the rare Crumar DS-2 and Soviet instruments Electronica and Alisa.
Dmitry is famous for his patience, thoughtful analytical approach and responsible performance with dozens of creative ideas for upgrading and repairing any equipment.
