Korg Wavestate – “Metamorphoses” Soundset (40 Exclusive Performances)

Description

The idea behind this soundset is based on an ever-changing soundscapes and transforming presets with their cycles of birth, formation, extinction and possible rebirth. We aimed to create a unique bank of sounds that would reveal the palette of possibilities of our favorite synthesizer, Korg Wavestate. So we produced a captivating product with rich, flowing sound worlds. Here you will find inspiring atmospheres and pads, layered instruments and living sequences!

Many ancient myths tell of transformations. For example, when Apollo is chasing the nymph Daphne, she calls on her river-god father for help and he turns her into a laurel tree to save her. There is a poem «Metamorphoses» by Roman poet Ovid tells of various metamorphoses-transformations: people into animals, plants, constellations, stones, etc. The creation of the world itself is considered a metamorphosis, as is the story of Julius Caesar’s transformation into a star.

This soundset with 40 exclusive sample-based performances was carefully crafted by the well-known sound designer, OttO K. Schwarz. The soundset will work with both hardware and software (native) versions of the synthesizer. The proposed sounds will be appropriate for both studio work and live performances.
